Overview

The award-winning luxury yacht KENORA is a stunning vessel that boasts an impressive design and an array of standout features. Built by Wally in the UK, the yacht was designed by Luca Brenta and commissioned for an experienced yachtsman for world cruising. KENORA is a performance world cruiser that has proven her ability time and again, whether Med cruising for months at a time or crossing the Atlantic with impressive speeds in the mid-20s.

The yacht’s exterior is sleek and modern, with Luca Brenta’s innovative lines way ahead of their time. KENORA turns heads as she enters new harbors, and her comfortable owner’s cockpit forward is well protected even without the dodger in situ. The high coamings on either side offer extra protection, with twin dining tables easily seating 12-14. Designed with long passages in mind, KENORA’s helm is both comfortable and practical, with every imaginable sail control within arm’s reach and at the push of a button.

Moving to the interior, KENORA’s raised saloon is bright and spacious with a modern feel, thanks to the blend of wood, carbon, and light-colored fabrics. Descending the teak companionway steps, a wooden dining table for eight with carbon intricately inlaid around the border can be found to starboard. To port is a comfortable lounging area with three sofas and an armchair surrounding a low, wooden coffee table. On the aft bulkhead is a large flat-screen TV with an entertainment system. Forward to port is a wet bar with fridge, ice-maker and custom storage for glass and bottles, while forward starboard is a study area with desk, lighting and an office chair.

KENORA’s master cabin was purposefully positioned in the center of the yacht, the area with the least movement in a seaway. The large double bed can be transformed into twin beds if desired, and electric blinds open to a view out of the forward coachroof window to the sky above. KENORA’s master has his-and-hers washrooms, en-suite with shower to port and head to starboard. After the study in the starboard corridor, there is ample storage space with full-length hanging wardrobes. The yacht has two guest cabins forward, both ensuite twin cabins with electrically controlled skylight hatches. Both have ample storage and hanging wardrobes for extended periods aboard.

KENORA’s crew is well accommodated with two ensuite cabins aft accommodating four crew. Ahead of the crew cabins and with its own entrance is the central, forward-facing Nav area. Outboard to port is the laundry area with Miele Washer and Dryer, while outboard to starboard is a workbench and tool storage. The galley is well laid out, full beam, and includes a comfortable crew area to starboard, complete with Miele appliances and ample fridge and freezer space.

The yacht’s aft deck is generous and a popular spot for sunbathing, while the transom folds down hydraulically to provide a large swim platform. Although originally designed for two tenders, there is currently one crew tender stored in the enormous lazarette, leaving bundles of space for other toys. With acres of space on the flush foredeck, it would not be impossible to carry a large tender here on longer passages to save towing drag.

KENORA is a must-see luxury yacht that has been meticulously maintained by the same owner since her launch. She has had the continuity of the same captain for the past 15 years and has been intelligently modified over the years to ensure she is always in top condition. KENORA’s impressive design, standout features, and proven ability make her a top contender in the luxury yacht market.
